From the runways of Italy and New York City to the boardrooms of global enterprises and NGOs, Sharon has built a career defined by evolution, innovation, and impact.
She started her journey in high fashion, walking prestigious runways before launching her own line of luxury women’s stilettos manufactured in Naples, Italy. However, her passion for business, leadership, and social change led her back to academia, where she earned her Master’s degree and later pursued her Ph.D. in Organizational Development & Leadership.
Sharon’s expertise spans across corporate strategy, process optimization, and global advocacy. She has:
- Served as a Goodwill Ambassador for a Gender-Based Violence (GBV) campaign mandated by the United Nations through the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network (ARDN).
- Founded an NGO in Kenya, addressing economic empowerment, clean water access, and gender equality.
- Achieved Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, specializing in lean practices and operational excellence.
Through Okubo Solutions, Sharon works with businesses, non-profits, and global organizations to implement efficiency-driven solutions, leadership development programs, and high-impact campaigns.
